Fluidra pool/spa heater recall

Fluidra Australia have recently asked us to be involved in a mass recall of approximately 23,000 gas heaters Australia wide. Any ICI 200 or 400 heaters, Viron 250, 350 or 450 heaters from Jan 2012 onwards and all Hinrg heaters are subject to the recall. There has been a problem identified with the ignition module which has apparently been causing the heater to turn on of its own accord resulting in overheating of the unit, and in extreme cases, risk of fire. There is going to be an enormous backlog of these recall cases to be completed so please be patient  while we work our way through the cases allocated to us. In the meantime, Fluidra Australia and ESV have urged all end users to isolate the gas supply and disconnect the power supply.
