Bells Beach Boiler And Heat Exchanger Install
After 26 years of constant problems with his spa heating, we were able to offer an alternative to traditional spa heating to the owner of this beautiful place. After doing a bit of research on what was going on with his setup, we decided that water flow was an issue leading to constant premature failure of their previous spa heating systems.
Our proposal was to install a 65 kw Baxi condensing boiler coupled to a 100kw all titanium shell and tube heat exchanger. Using this system overcomes many issues that face traditional spa heaters such as variable flow rates due to pump speed changes / blocked filters etc., no more copper traces in the pool system and increased efficiency amongst a few. In this scenario, even though we have reduced the input of the appliance from the existing 450mj down to 265 mj, heat up times have remained the same due to the increase in efficiency.
The heat exchanger which was previously sooting up due to the low flow rates can no longer occur due to the boiler controlling the primary circuit temperatures, and the transfer from primary (boiler) to secondary (spa water) circuits taking place within the all titanium heat exchanger meaning that the two circuits are seperated by a physical barrier and can never meet. If any of these problems with your traditional spa/pool heating sound familiar, give us a call and we can offer a solution.
